Job Profile Title: Sr. Manager, Executive Compensation

Senior Manager, Executive Compensation

The Senior Manager, Executive Compensation will be responsible for supporting the Iron Mountain Total Rewards team in the design, development, administration, implementation, and communications of executive compensation programs with a focus on executive pay, governance issues, and market trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports Senior Director, Executive Compensation and broader Total Rewards team on the design and analytics of short- and long-term executive compensation programs and strategies

  • Develops and drafts materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, including agendas, analysis, reports and presentations

  • Works with all HRBPs, Finance and Legal to address data requests, including the annual Proxy Statement process, performs executive benchmarking, and respond to ad hoc requests

  • Provides expertise on executive compensation governance issues, including market trends, monitoring regulatory changes, examining pay practices and valuation using an ISS and Glass-Lewis perspective

  • Partners with the Equity Compensation Administrator on equity plan design, communications and administration

  • Works with our stock plan administrator to communicate and administer the Employee Stock Purchase Plan, the Executive Deferred Compensation Plan and the Director Deferred Compensation plan

  • Works in partnership with IRM’s Equity Compensation Administrator on all aspects of equity compensation, including management of annual equity process

  • Manages applicable executive level salary survey processes and evaluates market data for executive positions

  • Strong understanding of executive compensation for Global organization.

  • Comprehend Benchmarking work in spreadsheets.

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in HR, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in executive compensation focused on benchmarking, plan design, and Board reporting

  • High level of spreadsheet expertise (pivot tables, databases, formulas) and presentation design skills (PowerPoint or Google Sheets)

  • Strong financial, analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills required

  • Experience in executive compensation, fixed and variable compensation plans, equity plans and total rewards programs

  • Excellent working knowledge of compensation related law, policies, and practices

  • Enjoys a teamwork environment
