ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Head of the NA HR Service Delivery Hub is responsible for leading a virtual HR team across North America that provides regional support to Iron Mountain employees and leaders, including employee relations, operational support, change leadership, HR program delivery support and day-to-day management of a third party outsource provider, that performs contact center (Tier 1) support and administers payroll, benefits and HR data changes The incumbent works with colleagues in Legal, Technology, Portfolio Management, as well as HR Business Partners and the HR CoEs to implement business, regulatory and HR program changes. He/she is also accountable for continuous process improvement and the employee experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Leads hub team to deliver HR services to HR Business Partners, people leaders and employees supporting a North America employee base of 10k

  • Manage outsourcing vendor delivering core services including payroll administration, benefits administration, workforce administration and Tier 1 services

  • Ensure audit and regulatory compliance relating to services is maintained

  • Lead and coach team of HR professionals including goal setting, performance mgmt, coaching and development

  • Lead and supports small and large scale projects associated with the delivery or execution of new or existing services, HR programs and technology updates

  • Focus on elevating the customer experience and driving continuous improvement through process redesign

  • Analyze service metrics to identify opportunities for change

  • Provides communication and change management support for changing plans, model design, documentation and new activities associated with country specific changes

  • Build and maintain strong partnership with Global and Regional HRBPs in order to ensure seamless delivery

  • Supports M&A activities

  • Maintains regional budget and appropriate staffing levels per budget.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred

  • 10+ years progressive experience in HR required

  • 5+ years leading a regional shared services organization required; leading virtual teams a plus

  • Must possess demonstrated understanding of HR service delivery model and performance management

  • A track record of continuous improvement in engaging and transforming the business environment

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build strong partnerships with key stakeholders in a complex, multi-supplier and matrixed environment

  • Exceptional conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced situations that require sound decision making

  • Executive presence with a high degree of comfort with change, with the skill to easily shift priorities to meet business needs

  • Strong analysis, problem solving, proactive root cause analysis, and customer interfacing skills
