Responsibilities

Based at our Boston office, the Senior Compensation Analyst will assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of compensation programs at Iron Mountain. The focus is providing customers with TCS (Total Customer Satisfaction) in all facets of compensation services and support. This includes collaborating with HR and business managers to provide assistance / guidance around compensation programs,including job evaluation and design, market pricing and compensation benchmarking, and analysis of a variety of compensation elements including bonus and merit programs. In addition, participate in the annual processes, such as merit and Incentive Compensation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a business partner and conduct job analysis / market pricings on individual and groups of positions as needed to ensure appropriate classification is aligned with market compensation

  • Participate in identified salary surveys

  • Partner and act as an internal consultant with managers and supervisors regarding compensation issues, policies and procedures

  • Gather and analyze data providing relevant information / recommendations to HR / business managers

  • Develop materials to educate Managers about compensation and the programs at Iron Mountain

  • Calculate bonuses for multiple bonus plans and manage bonus accrual files, as well as general analyses in support of business needs

  • Responsible for monthly processes such as stock option, deferred compensation, etc.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers in all matters pertaining to Compensation

  • Special projects as assigned

  • Stays current with trends and innovations in compensation program design and other reward and recognition programs, continually innovating to drive alignment with culture and performance

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS Degree in HR, Business or Finance preferred. 2 - 4 years of compensation experience

  • Excellent project management, analytical and computational skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Expert level proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Proficiency with MS Access is desirable.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for client and colleague interaction

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain total confidentiality in all matters related to employee compensation

  • High-level organizational, project and time management skills

  • Some travel - up to 10% may be anticipated
