HR Data Governance & Reporting Manager
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY…
The HR Data Governance & Reporting Manager role is responsible for managing reporting initiatives within the Workday platform, setting and governing the reporting operating guidelines, and ensuring users understand the data architecture to ensure accurate and consistent global reporting. The role will also oversee continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing end user adoption of self-service reporting solutions. The scope of the position requires deep knowledge of Workday reporting tools and the ability to build strong partnerships with HR and other functional teams to translate their business needs into viable reporting and analytics solutions. Since the role requires a deep understanding of global HR business processes and transactions, HR data structures, data privacy requirements, and the security model within Workday, it will also be responsible for acting as the global HR data steward, partnering with HR and other functional areas to provide governance over HR data.
Serves as the Workday reporting and dashboards subject matter expert, partnering with HR Functional areas, HR Business Partners, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to understand business strategy and needs; advises on the best reporting and analytics solutions to meet those needs.
Acts as the HR Data Steward, working across HR functional areas, global technology, and global business services to govern HR data and security standards.
Sets the guidelines for and governs how HR data reporting and analytics are managed within HR and across other functions.
Partners with third party vendors and internal project teams on implementation projects and/or ongoing support work.
Creates and manages dashboards, reports, scorecards, analytics solutions, and Worksheets in Workday.
Designs, implements, and manages HR data integrity audits to verify completeness and accuracy of employee records as well as supports all internal and external audit processes.
Proactively recommends and drives improvements and solutions to increase end-user adoption of self-service reporting capabilities and improve the employee experience.
Acts as Tier 3 (SME) support for HR reporting and analytics inquiries from HR or the business, meeting SLAs for response time, quality, etc.
Establishes and develops relationships with partners throughout the enterprise (including Information Technology, Finance, Procurement and Payroll) to ensure cross functional alignment on report strategy and design.
Supports Workday and other technology release processes to ensure continued effectiveness and integrity of existing reporting and dashboard solutions.
Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business administration, management science or other related discipline, or equivalent, relevant experience.
5-7 years of report design/analysis and consulting within a global HCM platform; 3-5 years experience with Workday reporting and analytics platform is required, in particular with People Analytics, dashboards, Workday studio and discovery boards.
Must be adept at placing attention and focus on continuous improvement to deliver a simple, streamlined employee/customer experience.
Functional knowledge in key HR competencies including, compensation, performance management, talent acquisition, benefits, hire-to-retire events, learning & development, etc.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with ability to influence and build relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to listen critically to customer needs and offer a range of potential solutions to meet those needs.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to design simple, visually appealing dashboards that can be consumed by a broad range of stakeholders.
Comfortable with the ability to pay attention to detail, while not losing sight of the bigger picture
Exhibits a genuine curiosity for learning and presenting data in new and creative ways that effectively communicate messages to a wide range of audiences.
