We are looking for a Payroll Analyst responsible for Poland to join our team as part of a larger transformation project.
As a Payroll Analyst you are responsible for ensuring an accurate and timely payroll is processed on a monthly basis, maintaining payroll process effectiveness and efficiency across all activities. Actively engaging in process design, monitoring of process compliance and integrity, and owns obtaining resolution for tier 3 escalated cases and communicating back to the HRO supplier and in country payroll provider.
Accountable for processing monthly payroll process by ensuring that complete and accurate data is provided to the in country payroll provider
Performs all other duties as assigned related to local legal and statutory requirements, reporting or local legal processes
Working closely with EMEA HR team to deliver on any non-standard HR processes
Develops and maintains a strong working partnerships with counterparts within the, In country Payroll Provider, HRO supplier and IRM CoE (Centers of Expertise) organizations
Works closely with the In country Payroll Provider (ICP), HRO supplier and CoE on day-to-day inquiries and escalations, providing Tier 3 process support for payroll
Receives escalated Workday AMS or Data Management payroll tickets (related to payroll integrations), triages, gathers more information as needed, and resolves by sending case back to supplier for closure or by escalating to the Workday AMS provider and working with them to resolve.
Identify data issue trends through metric and audit reporting and work with the various suppliers (ICP, HRO, AMS) through resolution.
Works continuous improvement efforts between ICP, CoEs and HRO and technology suppliers, adhering to IRM and supplier change control processes; acts as a project manager on continuous improvement projects
Coordinates the work to be done with operational counterparts within the HRO supplier organization.
Provides input to and participates in educating process users (e.g., HRO suppliers, HR users) on new processes and updates to existing processes
Reviews documented processes for HR organization and manager and employee-facing How To guides; provides support for process inventory maintenance
Works closely with the relevant technology vendors, ICP and HRO suppliers to resolve specific issues.
Performs functional testing as required in systems (e.g.Workday), and other systems as needed
Participates in root cause analysis efforts (led by suppliers) to address performance deficiencies or specific issues
Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
Significant relevant experience in payroll area, preferable in international companies (working in Shared Services organization will be an asset)
Knowledge and understanding of legal regulations and country statutory requirements
Understanding of all required payroll cycle related reportings and obligations towards authorities
Ability to assume responsibility for assignments and to perform them in accordance with minimal supervision.
Attention to details and high level quality, highly organized and able to work efficiently.
Ability to work under pressure and according to strict deadlines
Demonstrating high values and ethics
Comfort around working with different systems and reading and interpreting data
Flexibility and openness to learn new things
Teamworking attitude, good communication skills
Comfortable using English in daily job (reporting outside of Poland)
