Iron Mountain Senior Manager, International Benefits in Salem, Oregon

Reporting Directly to the Head of Global Benefits, Wellbeing and Mobility, the Sr. Manager, International Benefits will be responsible for executing on our strategic roadmap for benefits outside of the US.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Creating a roadmap and prioritization for international benefits strategy.

  • Managing and evolving a global governance structure for international benefits

  • Managing team responsible for Iron Mountain international benefits.

  • Developing rules of the road or standard operating procedures/RACI between international benefits COE and Regional HubOps.

  • Delivering program oversight and delivery with strong financial acumen and understanding of benefit budgeting impacts

  • Partnering with colleagues on the team for a coordinated approach to global wellbeing and support for global ERGs for benefits and wellbeing resources.

  • Analyzing industry trends and ensuring all benefits packages outside of the U.S. are competitive.

  • Updating benchmarking with global benefits broker/database

  • Manage all global renewal activities for global benefits (including paid time off programs)

  • Manage global broker relationship

  • Coordinate with HR Hub Ops for benefit and paid time off requirements

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather insight on how team members utilize our programs and offer recommendations.

  • Oversee the development, implementation and administration of the company's global benefit plans and programs.

  • Analyze current and developing legislation, privacy, healthcare regulations and other environmental factors impacting plan performance and program competitiveness.

  • Ensure benefits programs and policies follow local and federal laws.

  • Manage relationships with vendors, brokers and carriers, including monitoring cost, service levels, processes, and accuracy of data

  • Ensure benefits are embedded within the total reward experience

  • Use effective communication vehicles to optimize impact and understanding

  • Collaborate and influence our HR Hub Operations team to ensure the efficient administration of end-to-end global benefits offering and experience for employees and for administrative purposes

  • Review contracts, service agreements, and communication materials for accuracy and compliance.

  • Develop and maintain an executive dashboard for country-specific materials for employees, TA and HRBPs

  • Manage global pooling relationship, administration and reporting needs

  • Develop materials to support onboarding and education regarding new and evolving benefits

  • Support benefits M&A activities and transitions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field.

Consulting experience or strong influencing skills with leadership

Management experience

Experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide initiatives for benefits

A minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible experience in total rewards and benefits.

Experience independently developing and implementing programs in global locations.

Advanced knowledge in global benefits requirements including health, welfare, and retirement programs and regulations.

Vendor relationships management experience.

Strong presentation and data analysis skills.

Experience in a fast-changing environment.

Strong decision-making and influencing skills.

Experience directly or indirectly leading the work of others and mentoring/educating cross-functional peers
